Follow these simple steps to set up your new Abaj TV and enjoy the best viewing experience right out of the box.

1. Unbox & Place the TV

  • Carefully remove the TV from the box.
  • Attach the stand (or wall mount if required).
  • Place the TV on a flat, stable surface or mount it securely.

Tip: Leave space around the TV for ventilation and access to ports.

2. Connect Power & Remote

  • Plug the power cord into the TV and wall socket.
  • Insert batteries into the remote.

Tip: Use a surge protector for safety.

3. Connect Input Devices (Optional)

  • Connect Set-Top Box, DTH, or gaming console to HDMI ports.
  • Connect Soundbar or Home Theatre via HDMI ARC / Optical cable.
  • Insert a USB drive or hard disk if you want to view media.

Common Ports:

  • HDMI (Video/audio)
  • USB (Media playback)
  • LAN (Wired internet)
  • Optical Audio
  • 3.5mm Audio Out

4. Power On the TV

  • Use the remote or power button to switch it on.

5. Choose Language & Region

  • Select your preferred language.
  • Set country/region based on location.

6. Connect to the Internet

  • Choose Wi-Fi network and enter password.
  • Or connect Ethernet (LAN) cable.

Tip: A stable internet connection is needed for Smart TV features.

7. Sign In to Your TV Account

Depending on the OS:

  • Google Account (Android TV)
  • Amazon Account (Fire TV)
  • Samsung Account (Tizen)
  • LG Account (WebOS)

This helps sync apps, preferences, and recommendations.

8. Install or Update Apps

  • Pre-installed apps: YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, etc.
  • Use App Store / Play Store to install more.
  • Popular Apps: JioCinema, SonyLIV, Zee5, Apple TV+, Airtel Xstream

9. Set Picture & Audio Preferences

  • Picture Mode: Dynamic / Movie / Standard / Custom
  • Sound Mode: Standard / Surround / Music
  • Turn on HDMI-CEC if using external devices.

10. Optional: Set Parental Controls or Restrictions

  • Use PIN to lock content or apps for children.

11. Final Checklist

  • Wi-Fi connected
  • Sound and display working
  • Remote paired
  • Software up to date
